Geophysics
CUGRI operates in the sector of geophysics mainly through the activities coordinated by Prof. Antonio Rapolla. It has a large experience in Microseismic Zoning and in Earthquake Hazard Evaluation, making use of the most advanced instrumentation and Methodologies such as MASW (Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves)
Beside the contract work and the related research, CUGRI has cooperated with the CNR (Italian Research Council) IAMC (Coastal Environment Research Institute) on a equal basis for the exchange of equipment.
